Ready when you are. A test takes roughly 20–30 seconds and uses internet data. Limit: 40 tests per day per user (M-Lab policy).

Measurements use M-Lab's public servers; MYinc only hosts the website interface. Learn more ↓

UNDERSTAND YOUR RESULT

A useful test. Not a promise of your line speed.

01 · One connection

NDT7 measures one encrypted TCP connection in each direction. Multi-connection speed tests can show different speeds, especially on fast fibre.

02 · Your path matters

Wi-Fi, VPNs, device performance, congestion and the route to the M-Lab server all affect the result. Test again over Ethernet when possible.

03 · Honest readings

TCP latency is not a separate ping test. Upload values are marked Browser estimate when server-side upload statistics are unavailable.

HOW IT WORKS

Simple. Open. Transparent.

01

Tap & test

After you accept M-Lab's data policy, your browser connects directly to an available M-Lab test server.

02

Measure real traffic

Our tool measures download and upload speeds with NDT7's single-stream WebSocket method. Results can differ from multi-stream speed tests.

03

Understand results

Get practical guidance, print a PDF report, or share your results. The app keeps your recent test history locally.

Before you test: NDT7 transfers real data (which may count against your data allowance). M-Lab retains and publicly releases measurement records, including your public IP address. The minimum TCP latency value, when shown, is a server-reported RTT, not an independent ping or jitter test. No packet-loss or ISP identification is claimed. Read M-Lab's policy ↗

COMMON QUESTIONS

Quick answers.

Why is this speed different from another speed test?

NDT7 measures one TCP connection to a selected M-Lab server. Other services can use several connections, different routes and server locations. The results need not match.

Does MYinc see or save my IP address and results?

MYinc Speedtest saves a small local result history in your browser. The test payload goes between your browser and M-Lab, which collects and can publish measurements, including public IP addresses. Normal website logs may exist separately.

Can I test Wi-Fi, jitter and packet loss?

This tool measures download and upload, and displays minimum TCP RTT when available. It does not separately measure Wi-Fi link speed, ping, jitter or packet loss. For persistent problems, compare Wi-Fi with wired Ethernet.
